Don’t rent from this property or their affiliates. The manager at M1 through their agents LIED about a special they offered on a lease. They took my $500 holding deposit promising in writing that I would qualify for a significant discount, but then right before moving in they told me I had to pay a higher price. These people push out their tenants in cash for keys programs and neglect to fix rent controlled units. Tanya DeLeon, the property manager, is extremely rude when dealing with tenant issues and only talks on her terms. DO NOT RENT FROM THEM. They are single handedly taking part in displacing renters.

I lived at one of their properties for over 2 years. When we moved out we did not receive our deposit or a notice explaining why they were keeping our deposit within the 21 days limit under CA law. On top of it, they tried to claim that we had to replace all of the flooring in the apartment. My biggest issue isn't even being upset over possibly owing CLG money.
