I really enjoyed my visit to La Jolla Shores Park. It was one of those places where you can slow down, enjoy the ocean, and forget about everything else for a while. One of the most beautiful beaches of my life. The ocean is so stunning and powerful, it feels absolutely unreal. I just couldn't believe I was in this paradise on earth. The ocean was pretty rough almost every time we visited, but it added to the experience, as I wouldn't have thought I'd have the courage to get into such waters. I loved every moment of being there, and I'm already dreaming of coming back.

My favorite spot is Lifeguard Station 32! When my children were young, some surfed and others were just swimmers. Setting up our spot close to Lifeguard Station 32 worked well so that when the checkered flag was posted dividing swimming from surfing, we could just stay put.
