This is less of a review for Avalon Carver Community Center but for my experience with ALMA DUARTE. Alma is the head of enrollment for the DUI program held at the center. I’m not exactly sure how Alma was able to stumble into this job (because it CAN’T be based on merit) but I have no choice but to assume that whoever hired her is as clueless, inefficient and unserious as she is. As a homeless youth this place was suggested to me. I went there and got turned down immediately. The two men there barely did anything besides ask me two questions and didn't even bother letting me in. Talk about "community" center.

What ever man that answers the phone is horrendous! Not helpful at all. He must REALLY hate his job. I guess he doesn't have to worry about it anymore because it's closed now regardless of what the answering machine says.
