Wow! This experience at Ted Brown-Tacoma was amazing!! We went there for a rental violin for my daughter, and the lady helping us,(Ellen), was so straight forward, patient and so kind while helping us through the process. She gave us the do’s and don't s, and detailed instructions and information about the violin. We believe she did a very nice job and that it was cool to see another Ellen! :):):) Sincerely, Ellen-…

Brian is amazing! I was hesitant to shop here because I was not familiar with Ted Brown music and I really needed a new instrument and not only was he extremely patient but definitely showed me all of the options and answered all of my questions. That guy is a professional. TOP tier customer service!!

If I could rate Ted Browns a higher score, I would. They have been so incredibly helpful and understanding when it came to maintenance on my friend's instrument and when making payments. Always friendly and very knowledgeable. 10/10 all around, truly. Gino is always so approachable (even though I only met him in person once); excellent customer service!

The staff is so friendly and the aesthetics of the place are so amazing! I got my bass clarinet from here and have switched instruments a couple of times, the workers are always so brightly spirited

You cannot rent from Ted Brown if you are a stay-at-home parent. I realize they need to verify the ability to pay but instead of running a credit check or asking me for other verifiable information I was flat out told I can’t rent. It feels insulting that I need to ask my husband to secure an instrument for our child.
