After living in a overpriced, big company complex, our apartment in Fremont with Medawar & Co has been a breath of fresh air. Though it's an older apartment, Amir renovated the kitchen, added crown molding, replaced all older doors, and later added a washer/dryer. It's beautiful! They respond to any issues we've had promptly. More than anything, we've appreciated having real people and a family as landlords.
