I'm very pleased with Filco's removal of an underground oil tank at my house. The 63 year old oil burning furnace was being replaced with electric heat pumps, and the underground oil tank needed to be either decommissioned or removed entirely. Filco removed the tank, which included working with the State of Washington's Pollution Liability Insurance Agency. The process --for me--was straightforward and seamless. F…

Filco did a great job. I found out that the PLIA heating oil tank insurance program was ending, so I called Filco who came out and drilled ground samples that showed my heating oil tank was leaking. From handling the submission of our PLIA claim to removing our oil tank and remediation of our soil, Filco did an outstanding job for us. Would recommend to anyone looking to get rid of their oil tank.

They were responsive to every question we had, which were many , with often sam…

Way too long version: September 18, 2025 Contracted with Filco for an underground tank decommission. Was told there was a 4-week lead time at contracting, but would reach out with a date soon. October 2, 2025 - 2 weeks a…
