Backup generator connections require equipment that properly separates the generator supply from the utility supply. Planning should account for the generator’s capacity and the circuits intended to receive backup power. Professional installation of suitable transfer equipment helps prevent dangerous backfeeding and provides a defined method for operating the system.

The quote I received was competitive, and the electrician installed outdoor lighting that has been working reliably since. I'm satisfied with both the quality of the work and the professionalism displayed during the installation.

The electrician's quote for the electrical inspection was transparent, and they thoroughly explained what needed attention. After a few days, everything is still functioning as it should.
