We moved into our new home about five months ago and haven’t had any major issues so far. The builder took time explaining maintenance details during closing, which was actually very helpful later. There was a delay with one appliance delivery, though they coordinated temporary solutions until everything arrived. The entire experience felt more organized than I originally expected it would be.

My parents came by recently and even they commented on how solid everything feels in this house. Floors are level, doors shut properly, and the finishes don’t feel rushed. Communication slowed slightly during permit approvals, but the office still kept us informed often enough. The builder handled challenges professionally instead of pretending problems didn’t exist, which I respected a lot.

We purchased, on a short sale, an unfinished custom home in Southern Highlands. Left undone were cabinets; appliances; some floors; showers; in short almost everything except the structure itself. Our real estate broker recommended Merlin Contracting, which normally only did custom homes, but because of the real estate melt down in Las Vegas, had accepted some "piece meal" work to keep the subs busy.
